Spanish housemaster David Penn joins forces with UK producer-vocalist duo House Of Molly on ‘Talk To Me’ via Cr2 Records on 21st August. Built around a playful vocal and a groove made for the dancefloor, ‘Talk To Me’ explores the point in a relationship where communication begins to disappear. Rather than turning that subject into something introspective, Penn and House Of Molly channel it into a club focused record that balances its break up narrative with personality and energy.

House Of Molly explain: “We were deep in early East Coast hip house when we made ‘Talk To Me’, and somewhere in there it turned into a break-up track. It’s about that point in a relationship where the conversation dries up. But it’s playful, it’s made for the floor. You can take it as a comment on how everyone’s stopped talking to each other, or you can just dance to it. Perhaps we can have it all..?”

For Penn, ‘Talk To Me’ continues another prolific period in a career spanning more than three decades and over 400 productions and remixes. One of house music’s most consistent names, his recent output has included ‘Satisfy My Soul’ on his own Urbana Recordings, his Vintage Culture and Raphaella collaboration ‘Just Stay The Night’ for Defected Records’ XXV anniversary album, and the landmark 30th anniversary rework of ‘Nighttrain’ under his Kadoc guise.

Alongside his own releases, Penn remains a constant presence behind the decks, with his trademark energy continuing to take him through clubs and festivals around the world. His 2026 schedule has included multiple Ibiza appearances alongside dates throughout Spain, the UK, Croatia, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Jersey and beyond.

House Of Molly bring another established set of credentials to the collaboration. The UK producer vocalist duo have already worked with some of electronic music’s biggest names, including Jamie Jones, Nicole Moudaber and Eats Everything, while BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard has highlighted them as producers to watch.

With David Penn’s enduring knack for crafting timeless club records and House Of Molly’s bold, vocal-led approach, ‘Talk To Me’ is a natural meeting point between two artists currently at the top of their game.
