Levex Builds on International Festival Success With New Collaboration “Get It”
Vienna-based producer Levex has been making his presence increasingly felt within the European bass house scene, developing a sound driven by commanding low-end, melodic builds, and club-focused production. The Austrian artist’s growing catalog has found homes on labels including Monstercat, STMPD RCRDS, Dim Mak, and Hysteria, while his productions have attracted support from Martin Garrix, Timmy Trumpet, Julian Jordan, Dr. Fresch, Henry Fong, and 4B.
Levex’s progress has been equally visible away from the studio. His performances have taken him across Europe’s electronic music circuit, with appearances at Electric Love Festival, Danube Island Festival, Bootshaus, Lovestream Festival, and Papaya Club. In his home city of Vienna, his ongoing residency at Prater Dome has provided another platform for developing the energetic live presence that accompanies his increasingly recognizable production style.
That combination of studio output and live experience has allowed Levex to develop his project without becoming confined to a single formula. While bass house remains at the foundation of his work, his catalog pairs the genre’s heavier elements with melodic ideas and carefully constructed arrangements, giving his productions an identity that can translate between club environments, festival stages, and collaborative releases.
His recent work with Nostalgix on “Shine,” released through Monstercat, offered another example of that versatility. Now, Levex is carrying that progression into “Get It,” a new collaboration with Costa Rican producer Disto. Scheduled for release August 21 through Dutch label Bass House Music, the single brings together euphoric melodic sections, propulsive grooves, and forceful bass house drops.
The collaboration dates back nearly two years, when Levex and Disto began exchanging ideas and developing the track through online studio sessions. What began as an early demo was revisited and refined over time before the producers ultimately connected the record with Bass House Music. That extended process allowed “Get It” to take shape naturally, bringing elements of each producer’s individual approach into the finished release.
Audiences have already had an opportunity to experience the track well before its official arrival. Levex has selected “Get It” as the opening record for his festival sets throughout the summer, using the unreleased collaboration to set the tone from the beginning of his performances. The response has helped build anticipation around the ID and given the record a life onstage before its worldwide release.
With a growing list of international label releases, recognition from established names in electronic music, and performances spanning prominent European festivals and venues, Levex continues to broaden the scope of his career while remaining grounded in the sound he has developed in Vienna. “Get It” adds another international collaboration to that trajectory, connecting an Austrian and Costa Rican producer through a record already tested in front of festival audiences.
“Get It” will be released worldwide via Bass House Music on August 21 and is currently available for pre-save across all major streaming platforms.
